Stepping Stones Holistic Psychotherapy, LLC

Find a whole new approach to living and making a "Change...One Step at a Time"

Caregivers and essential workers are under a lot of demands and stress which can impact them emotionally, physically and psychologically. My name is Cari Surace, LCSW, G-CSW, CCFP. I am a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP) who uses simple holistic approaches with my patients which produces long-lasting results. My passion in treating adults has carried me through almost 30 years in the mental health field in my quest to help others find their own personal strengths. I will help you practice self-care while you are still able to successfully care for others.

My expertise has helped caregivers and essential workers find their own personal strength again. Many caregivers and essential workers suffer from fatigue, depression, anxiety, and even Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or other types of traumas like vicarious trauma & medical trauma. When you become fatigued, you may compromise your own capabilities, safety & well-being, your personal relationships, and maybe even your own careers.

Some of the populations I provide support to are:

  • Caregivers to a spouse, parent or child.
  • Nurses/ Physicians.
  • Teachers.
  • Social Workers/Therapists (consultation is also available)
  • State/ Government Workers.

Admitting you need help is a strength and not a weakness. My mission is to help adults make ongoing lifestyle changes in a compassionate and caring environment. Your emotional, physical and psychological well-being is my priority. Together we will create individualized short- & long-term goals that are achievable. I will help you set up personal boundaries, while removing barriers that are in your way. Your self-identity will return! There is hope! You are not alone! I am here to help you find a whole new approach to living. Let’s make that Change…One Step at a Time!
