Cari Surace, LCSW

Cari Surace, LCSW (CT Lic. # 006243) has been working in the mental health field since 1993. Cari received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1996 from Montclair State University and received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2003 from UCONN School of Social Work. Cari has dedicated her life to working with adults suffering from depression, anxiety and grief and loss issues.  Cari has both professional and personal experience with being a caregiver. Her experience brings compassion, strength, and hope to each of her clients. Cari’s holistic approach looks at how individuals feed their mind, body, and spirit. Her goal is to empower others to make permanent changes in their lives.

Cari is a member of The National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Clinical Social Worker in Gerontology (CSW-G), a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP) and is an ally for the LGBTQ community.
